Cow and Calf Rocks, Ilkley. Yorkshire, England, UK. Up on Ilkley Moor the Cow and Calf Rocks are an impressive rock formation consisting of an outcrop and large boulder. The rocks are made of millstone grit, a variety of sandstone, and named because one is large and the small one laying close to it, like a cow and calf. Photographed 12th February 2023
