Foden Truck on display at the Vintage Transport Extravaganza. Held every September on fields on Pool Road, Otley. There are more than 500 vehicles on display, from push bikes to huge steam engines. Photograph taken 2012.Foden Trucks was a British truck and bus manufacturing company which had its origins in Elworth near Sandbach in 1856.Foden, which became a division of Paccar in 1980, is one of the world’s oldest truck brands. While the marque has a rich history of innovation, after 1998 all Fodens were fitted with rebadged DAF cabs. They were latterly offered with a choice of Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel or Cummins engines. The marque was retired in 2006, the same year that it celebrated its 150th anniversary
