The Old Chapel Entrance, Barden Tower. Nestled in the valley bottom a few hundred yards from The River Wharfe are the ruins of an imposing hunting lodge ‘Barden Tower’ stone built in the fifteenth century by Henry Clifford (known as The Shepherd Lord) Also on the site are a Priests House and Chapel. This historic Hunting Lodge steeped in history can be found in an area of outstanding beauty in The Yorkshire Dales, England. Photographed 2nd July 2021.
