The Village Stocks located in front of the entrance way to St Oswalds Church, Arncliffe, Littondale, Yorkshire Dales, England, UK.

The stocks were re-constituted in 2003 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Queen’s coronation. The new stocks were built by Derek Bowen.

The stocks position just outside the church gateway would have been a reminder for those who missed church. By a law of 1490 each village was required to provide a set of stocks for this purpose.
